Mx. Alex Pitsas (they/them pronouns)
My journey to find photography as a second career came from my "late in life" discovery of my gender. During that process of exploring and uncovering my true gender, I modeled to help see myself grow and change. Modeling was done solely for my own benefit , and in time it helped me formalize my gender and find validation. It brought me much happiness and as I came to an end of a 35 year career in education I knew I wanted to help others with their own journey no matter what that journey looks like.
As a photographer I feel it is important to get to know my client before a shoot and develop a plan and expectations collaboratively. I almost always shoot using prime lenses and enjoy moving around my subjects to get different and unique angles as I play with light and shadow. It brings me great joy to know that my clients are comfortable, relaxed and trusting of me and my vision.
